Hi
I think the title says it all. Can't receive email since upgrading security. My guess is it's changed a setting somewhere. Any ideas? The other PC works, but hasn't been upgraded yet.
TIA

Adaware should have no effect on your e-mail. How did you upgrade AVG? Was this from 7.5 to 8.0? You are supposed to removed AVG 7.5 before installing AVG 8.0, which means that you will need to reconfigure your AVG e-mail settings from scratch. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
Yes, it is 7.5 to 8. It did the removal of 7.5 mid install (there was a prompt).Adaware should have no effect on your e-mail. How did you upgrade AVG? Was this from 7.5 to 8.0? Tried that and settings seem to be correct. Tried adding POP3 server. Still telling me connection failed. I've never had problems with an upgrade before:(.I have plenty of willpower - it's won't power I need.
