It doesn't matter how long it takes to charge up - as long as the charger cuts out after the batteries are full and doesn't overcharge the batteries and damage them as this is what worries me. I'm not bothered about fast charging, although it would be nice

A charger and 4 2300 nimh batteries on here comes to £11 (incl. p & p). I think that's pretty competitive

Morrisons have a Panasonic (2hour)intelligent fast charger that does AA and AAA for £10. It does upto 4 AA at a time or 2 AAA.0
