Anyone rewired an xbox wireless network adapter.

As title says, a friend has cut through an xbox 360 wireless network adaptor. She did it whilst openiong the package so it is brand new. The wire has been cut straight through.
I have done a search on the net but cant find another daft person who has done this:rolleyes:
Is it possible to open the adapter and re solder? Or is it possible to join the wiring, I think that there is about 6 wires, very very thin cable though.
Any ideas gratefully accepted...
