You should conisder these companies as a last resort - you are unlikely to get anywhere near the market value of your house. If you are conisdering selling and renting the house back, youe likely to be offered an AST rental agreement, which means you can be evicted at the end of the tenancy agreement.

  • thanks for that im considering selling a property which i think ill be nobbled for capital gains and additional tax when i purchase another, thus making it a second property that i wont be living in, dont want to lease ,just release some equity and get rid as i dont want the hassle of renting a large property out, just wondered if anyone had had idea of what kind of percentage below mv offers are like?

20-30% below market price, has been quoted on here previously.

If you think you are in capital gains territory, would it not be worth paying a few hundred for some proper advice?

There are rules to reduce your CGT tax bill......

However if you go down the quick-sale route, expect at least 20% discount off the realistic market value.

These quick-buy companies should be able to complete in a week.
