    :hello:

I'm having a bit of a dilemma today. I've been invited to a good friend's engagement party abroad which is a really big deal (also friends with their partner)... but going will use all the money I've made extra this month and a bit of what I've saved. I really really really want to go but am feeling horribly guilty about thinking of spending all that money. Haven't decided 100% what to do yet. Going to look into flight options, inc seeing if I can use some airmiles for the flight... I have over 250,000 of the things (largely courtesy of work trips), so maybe that's a "free" solution to the plane part... (and I found myself seeing about doing car hire via quidco etc too haha)

    Besides that, today:
    - did piggy clicks
    - checked online banking (bank hol is delaying everything going in and coming out!)
    - earnt £7 on quidco for buying travel insurance on behalf of family members
    - did a MS earning £5 plus £3 towards some shopping
    - cooked a nice tea from things at home.
    - appreciated that I have managed to save around £40 off this month's total grocery spend - a 20% saving on our usual month total. Still high, but a good start!
    - checked for more MS jobs but nothing today
    - paid minimum on 0% credit card
    Debt - Loan: £1150 C/C: £4763 @ 0%.

Yes, sorry Klane:o. No rest for the wicked today, my boyfriend would not let me sleep in so decided to get cracking with the day. Have to admit, it will be nice when Sophiesmum is back to resume her role, so i don't have to worry so much about the thread getting posted! You don't realise how much someone does until their gone:D

Am quite chuffed though this morning as the two people i put down as references for my diploma course have happily agreed to do it.

Hi Lilian1977, glad to see you on here and look forward to more posts from you.

Late posting again today (really should be in bed!), but anyway...

    Today I have:

    ~ checked online banking
~ cleared monthly credit card total so that I can shift 0% debt onto a "new" card until end of the year (not really new to me, but new to the 0% debt!), allowing us to keep debt and make more interest on balance of money in savings account than changeover fee! :p
~ used Pigsback voucher for JL to buy groceries - spent a £10 voucher for £4.46 of groceries, so left Waitrose with £5.54 more in my purse in cash than I went in with...:D (also have another £50 to drip feed into the grocery budget over the next few weeks! )
    ~ took lunch to work
~ had dinner from leftovers which we brought back from Mum & Dad's this weekend. Also have more leftovers (excess vegetables which will be roasted off and served on pasta) which will serve for tomorrow's dinner. :T
~ did Piggyclicks and Lightspeed surveys - trying to earn more Amazon vouchers as I want to buy Dad a book for Father's Day...must keep trying - am sure I can get a £5 voucher in the next couple of weeks! ;)
