eeerrrrrr they are kids tickets, hope he looks young for his age..0 -
Ok - my head may be in the clouds but I'm not completely daft! If you go to the general part of the site anyone can register for tickets and if the number of applications exceeds the available tickets, there will be a draw.0

I can't see where it says FREE it only says register and interest and there will be a draw if too many people apply are you sure they wont just email you the ticket cost closer to the time?.0
-
I can see your point and it doesn't state the word "free", but I think it's implied - and it refers to a "prize draw" if there are too many applications. Wouldn't be much of a prize if you had to pay for it, would it? I know we might look for wording to catch us out in some offers but I don't think this is intended to be a huge money-making enterprise. Could be wrong, of course, but we can only wait and see.0

Yeah, thats right, the navy has gone to great lengths to hide any cost, they are tricking people into signing up and will hit you all with a massive fee later. They are just after our money so they can buy another round of cruise missiles to frighten the evil dictators....

Nobody said anything about hitting people with a big fee that's just your vivid imagination. Your sarcastic note is neither constructive nor helpful.
The offer is 3000 free youth places it then allows adults to register an interest, normally when you register an interest they later email you the costs when they are available.
I too hope they are free as I have registered an interest and the 23rd is my birthday.
I just don't see why they would say 3000 free youth tickets if all the tickets were free..0 -
I just wanted to say a HUGE thankyou to the original poster. I received 4 tickets and we're really looking forward to a fantastic evening.

I applied, but no-one bothered to get back to me.
I've been told that the organisation of the event has been a bit ragged all round.A penny saved is a penny gained0
