I opened two - one with natwest to get the railcard and one with HSBC to get an MP3 player. needless to say, the railcard has been invaluable and the MP3 player broke within a month, but both banks wee fine with me opening two.
You need to be strong willed though - it also means two interest-free overdrafts.0 -
Re: the railcard question - they send you a renewed railcard each year, so i guess you could finish using your current one, then automatically receive the next one the following july (or whenever.) Definitly worth doing though, in my experience.0
