1 address 2 different tax credit claims

Hi i'm currently living at my Mum's house with my kids and i'm claiming tax credits, my sister has now come to stay for a while with her new baby and is going to claim tax credit aswell will this cause a problem as we have different surnames, 2 claims in the same address. Trying to get through to helpline at moment a nightmare!!!!!

    Welcome to MSE.

    The two different claims should not cause a problem. As you both have separate identities in the tax/ NI system, and you clearly are not in a relationship with each other :eek: , you'll be fine.
    Gone ... or have I?
