Hi,
I have just read that carers allowance is taxable, I dont work but do get carers allowance, do I pay tax on it and if so can I claim the tax back as I have not earnt my taxable income?

Confused again...

    Hi mummytofour,

It is taxable, but (assuming you don't have any other income in your name?) you should not be taxed because they will see that you are below the limit x

(Not sure if that makes sense - sorry, getting late for me!)
    Gone ... or have I?
