    Hi

There is no way that the experiance was worth £149.

So please beware, unless you choose wisely, you may well be fleeced!

    Hi

Sorry to butt in on this thread, just wanted to warn you about an issue I had with a gift experiance from Boots..

I was given a gift experiance as a Christmas gift and it was £149. (I know this because I had to take it back to boots as it went out of date a week after I was given it, they had last years stock on the shelves last Christmas!) Anyway... When I traded the voucher in for the experiance which was for 2 tickets for the Theatre and a meal for 2, I found that the theatre tickets had a face value of £15 each (up in the gods with the biggest post in front of the row. I THINK it was Phantom that we saw, but can't be sure!!) and the meal was ceaser salad for starter and chicken ceaser salad for the main course (little Italian place in soho). No other restuarants were available on the same day as the tickets.

There is no way that the experiance was worth £149.

So please beware, unless you choose wisely, you may well be fleeced!

Thanks for posting this Mel, that is terrible.

I have never been on one of these, but have considered spending my points on one, I wont bother now.

Its really good of you to alert us to this.:T :T :T

Did you ever contact Boots about it, or give them any feedback?

    Hi

I didn't complain, It didn't occur to me. Just vowed to not buy one as a gift or ask for one as a gift again. To make matters worse, the person who bought it didn't have an advantage card so didn't benefit at all!!

I won't bore you all with the drama that went with exchanging the original, nearly out of date, experiance purchased! It involved me standing in the piccadilly branch for 3 hours before they found a cashier/manager who knew what to do.

To add insult to injury, I only really wanted to see Billy Elliot and that wasn't even one of the choices!

I think form previous posts it has to be two products from the same range and one has to be styling
Nope myself and others, Pollsdolls being one have done this with items from different ranges under the model me name. I think its just store specific.
Will not spend more money:naughty:, but will spend more time looking for that great bargain!

Question about the N7 voucher inside the GWP: are they cosmetics only?

Anyone tried it with suncare or bathing products?

Now that would be super handy :D

Still havent seen a GWP for the med range, my BOGOF voucher is begging to be spent. Managed to find the Boots in the retail park in Falkirk (Thanks Catherinehenderson1972 for the tip) but none there yesterday. They did have the £5 tubs of body butter just to tempt me but I'm hanging out for my freebie.

My local store didn't have any Med GWPs the other day, but today they had 3 on the shelf:j I got 2 of these hero.jpgand used BOGOF PC.

The GWP is gorgeous. It's well worth waiting for:D I especially love the almond, pistachio & mild body butter. I could eat it:rotfl:

Minx did you get the pink ones?

.....did the SA def scan the £ side as opposed to the euro side? I remember this being a problem before.

I did think of putting it in a gift bag or something, but the one it comes in is so pretty! I looked at the receipt again, and it's described as a "gift bag £10" and now free. Hmm. I may have someone scan it next time to see if it rings up. Has anyone had theirs scanned before other med products? And did it ring up with a total of £10?

yes, I have. The SA scanned it first. It came up at 10.00. Then she scanned the preg body butter. Linksave came up on till and reduced the total. HTH:D
