Yep thats right geordie_lass, I noticed it then too.
It is definately available to buy on it's own for £10, so is completely acceptable as a gift (and a very nice gift it will make too, I'm sure they'll be chuffed with it skibs)0 -

I took my children in for eye tests this morning and noticed the stand with "free soltan pouch with every eye test" but then forgot about it when we were leaving. Maybe I wouldn't have been entitled because, with them both being under 16, I didn't pay for their tests?
My OH had an eye test on Saturday and got the free Soltan pouch. His test was free as we had a HC voucher. I think you should get them regardless. Why dont you ask next time you are in, I am sure there will be no problem.~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
new to this bootsing lark so bear with me.
went to the ACM this morning and had zilch on it besides travel insurance etcbut clearance had a couple of bargains so bought:
AC Mag £0.00
Radox deoderant £0.50p
photo mount tape £0.75p
Armed with my 200pts wyb No 7 from the mag I went to the larger boots in Sheffield and had shdloads on the ACM! bought:
Glossy locks hair spritz £5.75
Lip and eye sunscreen thingy £0.00 (BOGOF)
No7 bathing Heel cream £9.50
used 200pts from the mag,
350pts wyb No7 bathing
so got the No7 stuff for £15.25 got £5.50 back and the gwp
I realise I could have got better value by getting two sets of bogof suncare but I wouldn't have used them all so seemed like false economy. The things I got were stuff that I would have bought anyway to treat myself so quite proud of my little bag of goodiesRemember to always be yourself-unless you suck. Joss Whedon0 -
At my store, the No7 bathing stuff is also over near the Natural Collection bathing items, on the back side of the aisle that has the Med body butters and the Soap and Glory stuff. They even have gwps at the end of the aisle, so I just scoop my suncare products up at the no7 counter (and they are probably also with the regular suncare items, but I haven't checked), then go get my No7 bathing and gwp far from the No7 counter so they can't try to get me to check out there, lol.
skibster, yep, if you mean the oracle store!! On the first floor there are lots of suncare N7 stuff, which hasn't been marked 241 yet (I asked last week and was told almost all suncare was on 241, but they had run out of stickers?!).
skibster, you mentioned travel irons very cheap, £1.25, I believe. There were lots today in the clearance upstairs but marked £3.25, morphy richards, dual voltage. They were quite heavy so I decided not to get one.
I got in the clearance section downstairs, some support tights reduced to 0.88£ (not quite fligths socks, but similar).
Got a Babyliss travel hair dryer for £9.99 reduced from £14.99. It comes with a european adaptor and is 2000W. Also available online http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1034528&classificationid=1037946
not sure if it was a good bargain, but I could really use the 2000w on holiday, since my old dryer was very weak!!
Got the Mediterranean GWP and the butters feel great!! It seems like a good bargain since it comes with 2 butters 200ml and 1 mini butter 50 ml, so a combined value (if we were to buy them separately without any offer - which I might add, would never happen!!) is £7.50x2+£2 = £17. In case you might not be aware, you can combine Amazon stuff as well for this offer. Has anyone seen this box for £5 instore, reduced from £10 (Boots Mediterranean Selection Box)? http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1086282&classificationid=1049982
Question about the N7 voucher inside the GWP: are they cosmetics only? Anyone tried it with suncare or bathing products?
Someone has kindly left her mailing vouchers next to the acm at one of my local store (Reading - broad street: I went there because the points voucher in the acms there is always for a lower spend threshold!!). I did not take them because they had someone else's name on them and I did not want to get caught.... I kinda regret not taking the vouchers, especially since I did not get my spring mailing. Thanks anyway if you're around!!0
