Morning ladies (and any random bloke ;)) hope you're all well.
Just had a quick glance on ebay, and check this out - 330239086194

It's not mine btw, and no idea who's auctioning it, but it does make me want to learn a bit more about selling :D

Wow  think I might list mine now actually ;) I have a few bits listed at the moment myself, a couple of 17 GWPs and a Ruby & Millie pallet :o From past experience the GWPs do sell pretty well :o

Speaking of GWPs, could anyone please post a pic of the NC one? I'll be heading Bootswards on Tuesday and would like to know what I'm looking for!

I really fancy the Clinique GWP, but not being a big fan of Clinique don't know whether to bother. To be fair I haven't used anything from them in years..... last stuff I tried was the 3 Step Programme and didn't like it at all, the toner was like paint stripper. I have VERY sensitive skin......so not sure if Clinique is right for me.

Scorpiokitten, I am once again in AWE at your [STRIKE]cheek[/STRIKE] skill at getting GWPs. You really are the Glitch Queen of this thread :rotfl:
You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that :p

SK You are a nutter. I swear I love a bargain but you are such a chancer. Not sure any of my SA would keep scanning them & not thinking it odd that no price shows up......

Wonder if they'd good through ok on the SS tills.

Also Glidergirluk are there any Med GWP/NC in the high st & anyone, WHICH are the exact butters needed for the PC med offer.

    TIA

I wonder if the bag is counting itself towards the £5 spend needed to get the GWP? as it usually sells for £4.99, rather than a special product just brought in to be a GWP, so it's paying for itself...Mr B's tills strike again!

I wonder if the same principle works for the Med GWP? as that is a normal product that usually sells for £10, and it's spend £10 to get the GWP.

Didn't someone report they were getting reduced stuff from mediterranean and they had to go back and get a few more so that the GWP would go through free? But it could have been because of the "reduced" part. However I was under the impression it did not work that way...

Having said that, if the GWP counts towards the total that would explain why there is no stock  Some cunning people managed to figure it out before we did and they did not share.

The tills at Boots are a mistery. The person who programmes them must be a really confusing person to make every offer go through differently. Or it's someone that gets a kick out of programming a few glitches and waiting to see how long it takes for someone to figure them out. (This reminds me of the MS Excel some years ago, if you typed in a combination of keys it would unlock a flight simulator - I am not joking, I did it a couple of times - and in there there was a stone with the names of all the people who had worked on the programme. So for me the Boots till programme is one of those IT nerds putting in all sorts of weirds combinations!! and waiting for someone to crack them!). Well, keep them coming!!

EDIT concerning the Med GWP: I am copying jediteacher's post since some of you may miss it. Sorry for the "temporal paradox"!!
I tried this the other day and the till charged me the full £10. So, it doesn't work. You also have to buy £10 worth of goods as the till recognises the reduced price and not the original price. IYSWIM?

It's these, found with the baby creams and lotions in my local rather than with the other Med butters..

My lovely husband took me out for lunch today as a treat - and to give me a break from report writing. As we were going to Welwyn Garden City it would have been rude not to go into Boots.

There we found the Johnson's baby section full of reduced stuff. Even though we have lo80ads he 'convinced' me to buy some more as he said it won't go off if unopened and we'll always use it.

    This is what we got:

    Johnson's 750ml baby bath reduced from £3.69 to £1.85
    Johnson's 750ml baby shampoo reduced from £3.49 to £1.75
    Johnson's 400ml bodylotion lightcare reduced from £2.89 to £1.50
    Johnson's 250ml softwash reduced from £1.89 to £0.78

Then my husband treated me to some nice smellies from the reduced section.

    I got

Boots essential aromatherapy bodywash ylang ylang for £2.25
NC Ice Musk Travel pack for £2.00 (and the bag went through as FREEEEE! :T)

For my TA at school as an end of term gift I got her the Boots essential aromatherapy sleep easy bathing set for £4.

A good result but now I have to crack on with another 16 reports to write. :(

I just had this exact thought!

I'd try it with the med GWP...............if I could find any of the bl**dy things!!

    Hello

can i just say how nice it is to see people handing cards back left in the ATm...like i did this month:eek:

Unfortunatly i was told staff shred them as soon as they are handed in:eek:

I was told they destroy them at the end of the day.

Has anyone found a cheap way to use the Umberto Giannini coupons from Express? It looks like they will expire before any new offers come on, so we'll have to make do with what's available now. I'm not sure it will be worth using, as I only want some if it will just cost a couple of quid, lol.
