Is this how you mean it will look? If so then the space where the oven door opens is a waste as opposed to putting in the middle of the worktops!
I only wish my kitchen was that big!
There is nothing else alongside the left-hand wall, except for the kitchen doorway, so the oven door can be opened without obstruction. It would partially block the kitchen doorway by about 6 inches when it is opened, but I can live with that.0 -

Oh OK. Sorry for being dense but I don't overly see why you want the cooker on the end though? What's wrong with it being more central? :think:0 -

If the cooker was in the middlle, the hob would be right next to the side of the tall fridge. I don't like the sound of that.0 -
How long is your wall? Surely you have more space along it than just for a washing machine, fridge and cooker? Where are your cabinets?
Can you give us room dimensions? There has to be a better way than you are suggesting.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Length: 2m 45 cm.
Width: 1m 82cm.
Cabinets are currently mounted on back wall, either side of cooker and above the sink on the right-hand wall facing the doorway.
The fourth wall is pretty much taken up by a long window.0 -
So it's an L shaped kitchen is it? I can't tell the difference between 'back wall' (which I would assume faces the door) and 'right hand wall facing the door'
Whilst it mightn't be dangerous, it's just a silly place to have a cooker and you should really have 30cm either side for safety. You do have enough space to fit it somewhere sensible. It's also generally considered to be the focal point of a kitchen.
If you want a tall fridge then ideally you should place it on the wall opposite a window because it blocks light. Also away from the entrance to the room because it makes the room feel smaller when you walk in.
Can you draw us a picture of the room? Or explain exactly where the doors and windows are in relation to the dimensions you've given?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

My proposal was to move the cooker to the where the fridge currently is. Slide the washing machine across to the centre, and place the new fridge where the washing machine currently is.0 -
You're not replacing any of the units or anything?
I would almost certainly be inclined to swap the washing machine and cooker over instead.
The perfect place for the fridge is where the current fridge is. It doesn't block the flow of the kitchen; fridges can very easily get in the way. Washing machine is happy next to fridge, cooker is setting fire to fridge or walls and there's no restriction in available work surface around the cooker.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

How deep is the space under the window? Could you not fit that section with units moving the sink under the window?0

I guess putting the cooker where the washing machine is now should be OK. Not sure why I didn't consider it before (apart from the obvious fact that design is not my strong point).
