Want to help your child at school?

Want to teach them the National Literacy Strategy Key Words?

Learn4life is a British educational publisher who produces a wide range of books, games, CD-ROMs and resources for schools, colleges and most recently, for parents. All Learn4life products have been designed by educational experts and trialled by parents and schools.

As part of the launch of the new ‘Parent Power’ range, learn4life are offering to give away a Stage 1 Reading and Writing Toolkit and 5 Stage 1 CD-ROMs to lucky Meetmums members.

The reading and writing toolkit is a complete set of resources for parents to teach their child to read and write. Each toolkit contains: 10 reading books, associated word games, a fun activity book (with stickers), a star chart, poster, badge and a comprehensive step by step parent guide on teaching reading.

The CD-ROM contains 10 Stage 1 reading books and 15 separate screen-based jigsaw puzzles depicting characters and scenes from the books to aid hand-eye co-ordination and spatial awareness. The CD-ROM is an invaluable resource for those children who love playing on computers, instead of turning pages, they can follow the words using the arrow keys or by the click of the mouse button; reinforcing the message that learning to read is fun!

I've looked at the site and seen:-

"Bright Start - Early Years Reading and Writing Toolkit Stage 1 "

"The set of books is based upon Henry Sarl aged 3 and the adventures he gets up to with his cousins (Honor and Charlie), his bestfriends (Thomas and Darcy) and his family (Mum, Dad and Grandma). Each story relates to events and themes which children can relate to,and find funny and interesting. The adventures of Henry continue in Stage 2 and 3."

So I presume the answer could be any 3 of:-

Henry Sarl, Honor, Charlie, Thomas, Darcy
