The rise of 'professional' tenants

Most times I come to this board, I see tenants being advised on how to spin out the legal eviction process, 'ebelish' their story to the Social Services by claiming single parent status, exploit loopholes in their contracts and generally be obstructive to LL.
All very jolly. But what happens with private LL decide that the economics and legal position make letting a mugs game?
I suppose all the 'professional' tenants will be happy to live under a hedge!:rotfl:

I only encourage where it seems like the LL has turned the tenant over in some way, leaving the tenant in a dire position.
For the LL it is a business and they will have (should have) managed their risks.
A lot of the time good people seem to be thrown out of their homes because the LL's changed their mind and want their football back now. Well, that's not in the spirit of providing housing to the public, which the LL's will often have declared "is a long-term investment".
A property will always be owned by somebody, so on average it would be sold off to another (better) landlord and rented again, or somebody would buy it as a home.
The property wouldn't just disappear.0 -

Many Tenants posting on here support the LLs who are having a rough time and many LLs similarly help Tenants who post on here .Sometimes LLs help other LLs, and Tenants help other Tenants and sometimes those who have no experience of being in either of those categories may offer help or suggestions.;)

This is exactly my position.
LL has put the house on the market. Fair enough .... but issued me with a s21 notice with two months notice. So far so good .... but it expires one month before the end of the fixed term stated in the AST.
And ... they use a reputable LA :rolleyes:
I'll go when I've found something else to rent. If that's before the end of the AST then I'll be negotiating with the LL. For example, as the property is being sold, there won't be a need for that professional cleaning of the carpets, will there?
