Co-op BOGOFF

I was in my local co-op last night and they had some cheese on BOGOFF for 1.99 for 200gms and one free, but just down the isle they had the same cheese for 1.56 for 264gms...... the kg price on th bogoff one was 9.95 and the normal one 5.95. is this normal to hike the bogoff price, i did used to think it wzs but never seen it so closely before.
