I'm after a length of kitchen worktop to put into our utility room, but most companies I've gone to have a minimum order value of something like £400!!
I've found that screwfix have some, but not in the kind of style we require, e.g. black granite effect. Can anyone recommend any places that would sell worktops without a minimum order value?
TIA
Dave

Have you tried B&Q? The only limitations they tend to have is that it is a three week lead time for some worktops.
Howdens are another place who hold a huge range, we got our new solid beech one by just walking in and they had stock through the back.0 -
Went to B&Q at the weekend and they have a minimum order value of £400 as quoted in their catalogue and from their website they only seem to do packs of 2. I'm after more of a breakfast bar type as I need the extra length to cover my appliances.
Do you know where Howdens are located? It would seem that their website is down at the moment.
Cheers

Try the YellowPages under kitchens or builders merchants, I'm afraid I only know where my Aberdeen branch is. I assume they ARE nationwide and not just a Scottish company.0

Just try your local builders merchants. They can usually get it within a week!!In this trusted place U can erase
Every tear that ever rolled down your weary face
All the time U waste in that paper chase

I've bought mine from MFI. Not the cheapest place though.

B&Q sell individual lengths of ebony black granite gloss style for £60 for a 3m length, I bought these for my kitchen and there is no minimum order, they are off the shelf items.
Also available is upstands at £15 a length. I got these from a B&Q warehouse.0
