Spainish Property advice needed for a Power of Attorney

I have or did have a home in Spain, the short story is got divorced, x got the house, I got the kids, went bankrupt, been discharged, they didnt want the Spainish property so she still has it.
Two years on and the x hasn't sorted this into her name, so still in joint names, even though there is a court order handing everything over to her.
She now wants a Power of Attorney from me so she can sell the property !
Any advice or guidance would be appreciated please.

It is best not to hand power of attorney to anyone you don't trust 100% (i.e ex wife is not a good idea).
Best bet is to use a solicitor in the UK who can instruct a solicitor in spain if required on your behalf. Never go direct to a spanish solicitor, use a UK one and that way if you have any problems you can take your complaint to the law society in england.
