can anyone advise whether or not the drawers that go under cots are good value for money? do they store much? i am worried that they will be a dust trap as the contents wont be covered
looking for as mse as possible way to store sheets, sleeping bags and towels under my dd's cot
living in a flat we are seriously short of space - so looking for a neat way for storing bedding to allow the drawer to become free to hold clothes
thanks in advance

I've got some Winnie the Pooh collapsable boxes with lids which are really good.:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

Hi there,
I had the M&P under cot drawer for my youngest (bear in mind that she is now 3 and a bit and her cot is long gone!)
I managed to fit in 3x flat sheet 3x fitted sheet 3 x cot blankets and a couple of pram blankets (possibly a sleeping bag or 2 as well)
Yes it did get a bit dusty down there - although probably because other than the sheets I didn't use anything in there (and with 3 under 5 looking for dust wasn't a priority for me
) dd2 wouldn't sleep in anything other than a sleeping bag  so I only really needed the sheets.
In saying that we were really short of storage space and it did the job... I also remember being really shocked (in a good way!) at what it sold for when she grew out of the cot and I was selling off bits and pieces for the "big girls bed" fund...
Sorry I can't be more specific about how much I fitted in there - it feels like a long time ago...
eta - just trawled through the old TL files - Dimensions are 110 cm wide, 65 cm deep and 16.5cm high. The drawer was sectioned into thirds and then there was a divider in the middle section (so 4 sections all together) Perhaps if you measured out the bedding you would get an idea it there would be enough storage for you?0 -
You can buy underbed storage boxes from matalan or ikea which are very reasonable - and have lids.
