I have had a bad experience at Neteller, they put their charges up for a bank transfer from £1 to £5, total scam, it has really annoyed me so I just want to share the letter with you all so you can avoid them like the plague, I'll post the response if I get one.
Neteller,
I just recently processed a withdrawal from Neteller to my personal account in the UK and noticed you had put up the transfer fees. When did this happen and why was I not notified?
A few months ago before April I was charged just £1, this is a 500% rise. Very similar to the great petroleum rip off we are undergoing at this present time in the UK, strikingly similar to all the rip off firms that plague us in this world today, so no surprise that a company as yourselves would be going the same treacherous way.
The fee of £5 is much too high and I was surprised that you charged such an extortionate amount for a simple bank transfer.
I am sure the transaction does not warrant this amount being taken and I am extremely unhappy, surprised, annoyed and shocked at the amount. In future I will be avoiding using you to transfer monies regarding my online transaction until you decide to lower your fees.
It is a sorry affair when yet again the online community in penalised and ripped off by another online firm, I have noticed there are many online forums complaining about the extortionate amount you charge for these transactions, so it appears your are making many, many people unhappy and that can only be bad for you.
My advice is to assess your place in the online market and adjust accordingly. You aren't that good a service, just an inconvenience.
Yours, very annoyed, put out and feeling ripped off,
Mr XXXX XXXX
There, don't expect the scammers to refund me anything but it will make me feel a bit better.
