Spending morrisons spend and save coupons in tesco!!

Not sure if this is the right place....

Im just back from tesco (not sure if its nationwide) and they have a huge banner out front saying that they are now accepting morrisons spend and save vouchers in store!!!

This seems like a cracking deal (they had some really good offers on the banner such as £5 off a £30 spend) but how do i get a hold of some of them??? Searched the website but there is nothing on there!!!

These are the coupons that were in the Sun every day last week. The last one was printed yesterday so you've missed the offer unless you can get hold of anybody's unwanted vouchers!

(You could try your local Freecycle as a long shot!)

It's nothing new and all Tesco should take them (even those with no Morrisons within miles). If you ask at the CS desk first it may help, if you get told yes it will give you ammo at the till if the SA refuses it. If you get told no at the CS desk then they are, quite frankly, wrong. Ask for a Till Manager as you believe it's been Tesco policy for a long time to accept rivals' conditional spend vouchers (not just Sainsburys ones)...

These coupons have been discussed on many threads already this past week. On one thread someone has posted the wording of an email from Tesco HO which confirms that Tesco DO accept them. Copy & paste a version into a word document & take it instore as you may need it to prove your point. There is no proviso that the store has to have a Morrisons nearby.

FWIW, it has been Tesco policy for years to accept spend & save coupons from other major Supermarkets. NB this does NOT extend to any other coupons from other stores for 50p off coffee or whatever, ONLY coupons where no product or range is stated, only a total spend.

Dunno why everyone was so surprised when they realised Tesco would take these as it's a really well-established policy. They take your Sainsburys & Waitrose conditional spend vouchers as well of course (the ones sent to you with your name on).

And you are supposed to use them in the right week and against the right spend (but as they have a standard £5 barcode they will scan any week on any spend over a fiver of course).
