Renting a flat in london
A friend of mine is coming to london in june and wants to rent an apartment with 2 bedrooms for a week. She is coming from India.
Any idea how to go about this ? Do we need to contact estate agents ?
Thank you for all your help in advance !

Google for serviced apartments in London.
They will be expensive as most of them are targeted at business people.I'm not cynical I'm realistic
(If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)0 -
you could also try gumtree. Be warned though if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. A friend wanted something similar last year and found a place on gumtree - asked my hubby to pay the money into persons account, which he did do by cheque. Anyway cut long story short friend and family turned up to pick the key - address was occupied. Luckily able to cancel cheque.0

why is she coming to London? is it just a holiday, or work, or study? If work or study, she might have some luck asking the company or uni she's coming to, whether anyone knows of somewhere she can stay. often you find someone's aunt is going on holiday and has a flat available... If it's a holiday, for just a week - serviced apts are probably the way to go if she can afford it. I could see a lot of hassle trying to go privately, and is it worth it for just 1 week. but still look into it, just be aware.0

she is coming with her family for a week on a holiday and that is why they want a 2 bedroom flat with a kitchen.0

Could try Citadines - it's a apartment hotel aimed at business people but it's not too expensive. I stayed the one by Trafalgar Square and it was very convenient and easy. I don't know if they have two bedroom apartments though, that's the only thing.0
