Dewstow Gardens - Sunday lunch?

We've got friends coming from away and are taking them to Dewstow Gardens one Sunday soon. We will be looking for somewhere to have Sunday lunch and wondered if anyone could recommend a place nearish to Caerwent or perhaps the Dewstow Golf club itself. My friends are real foodies so the grub has to be good.
Your advice appreciated please.

I visited Dewstow Gardens last summer and thought it was fantastic. It's not an especially big place but is really interesting and different. The kids loved it as much as I did. On that occasion we stopped at a pub on the way home but the food was fairly ordinary.
I used to frequent a place called the "Newbridge Inn" at Newbridge-on-Usk. It was a superb smallish pub on the river, between Caerleon and Usk. The beer was always good and the food was absolutely brilliant.
Unfortunately a few years ago it was extended, modernised and turned into more of a restaurant. It was far, far better as a pub than as a restaurant. The food is twice as expensive now but is probably just as good as used to be.
I reckon it's still worth a visit. If the weather is nice the setting is lovely. If you google it you'll find it.0
