When do you enter competitions? Only ask because I enter them when they are posted on the comps ending. But does anybody enter them as soon as they are posted?

I never use the comp ending threads, have no need for them. I just work backwards from where I was last upto or if I manage to get some time on here in the mornings, I enter them as they are posted.

The comps ending threads are quite a new addition to the board, & I would think the majority of people (esp those who've been here since before they started) still enter comps as they're listed :)

Really feeling a bit tearful today. Just read your post about your cousin RCB. I really feel for them and sending loads of positive vibes your family's way. I'm sure your sil brought them some answers last night. Wishing them and you all the best. ((((((((((hugs)))))))))).

OMG toniq, how brave of you to share that. You are a star and I hope all your wishes come true. I lost two babies, one at 13 weeks and the other at 17 weeks. I can sympathise with the birthing trauma as had to go through that too with second loss. The pain doesn't go away and the memories don't fade it's just that the knowledge doesn't come as such a shock as time goes by.

Past 3 days have been tough. Can't stop crying about my mum. Stupid 41 year old mum of 6 sitting on her bed, crying for her mummy!! :o

"Chin up", as she used to say, "you don't look as pretty with a saggy face"!!

ps toniq, 2 year old still singing about "my cup's empteee" & "give you moneeey":rotfl: :rotfl:

    Thanks again, everyone!!
Unsure yet, but I think they may be going ahead with a temination as the baby's head is a 'lemon' shape, which generally means it will be very badly brain damaged as well as the spinal problems.

My cousin is so frightened of giving birth knowing that the baby will already have been lost. I have suggested that if that's the route they take they will probably need some sort of counselling afterwards, but we are all there for them whatever the decision.
