    Good morning :)

Thought I'd introduce myself here, even though it's 4.30am and I should be sleeping! Insomnia is not my friend...it's my stalker!

I joined MSE aaages ago and use it a lot but have recently got back into comping. In 2 days I've entered over 300 comps.....I'm not keen or addicted....nope, not me! :rotfl:

I've never, ever won anything.....never! (Get the hint....never hehehe) so I'm really hoping I win something....even something small would make me smile like an idiot!

Anyway, I'm Kelly (obviously from the screen name :rolleyes2 ), I'm 27 and live near Southampton. No OH, no kids, just a hamster named Brian and a Goldfish named Stewie. That's as exciting as my life gets....so I'll leave you to carry on sleeping while I enter more comps and amuse myself by writing silly intro's:rotfl:

Welcome Kelly and good luck, I hope that you are lucky, maybe you will get some beginners luck this time. I have entered competitions in fits and starts over the last 12 or so years and this year has been my most successful and thanks to this site I believe im hooked and waiting for a "biggie" See you again soon xx
Ps, If you want to come and look after my 16 months old daughter, who it appears also has a form of insomia please let me know! hehe xx
Comping addict since 2007 - still waiting for 'the big one' :j
  • Hi Kelly, I'm kinda new too. I introduced myself a few days ago and this is the first time I've been able to pop in since then. I'm also couldn't win a black eye in a fight but still keep entering the comps.

My mum was hugely successful, winning a number of holidays, a scooter, endless beauty hampers and the like. She comped for a couple of years back in the days when it was all postcard entries!

Anyway just wanted to say good luck to you! Hope the postie is hammering both our doors down soon!

    Kind regards

    Thank you!

I'm reckon I have to win something, given the amount of comps I've entered! If I don't....well, I'm not giving up! :D

I'm hooked already and I've only been doing it properly for 2 days

As to your daughter....I reckon not! :rotfl:
I may be an insomniac but I'm not stark raving mad...well, not fully yet anyway

my 7yr old lost both his front teeth one day after the other! He get £1 for the 'single' teeth and £2 for 'double tops' iykwim!

Our tooth fairy is a bit forgetful though  she sometimes has trouble findingwhere he has left the teeth too.

    :D

That reminded my of the night when the tooth fairy 'forgot' to come to our house! I think she may have had a drink that night! My eldest was so disappointed the next day when her tooth was still there - she has a little tooth fairy box to put her teeth in - so when she went to sleep the following night the tooth fairy left her a letter saying sorry she didn't make it but she was poorly and left her extra money aswell! My daughter was very happy! ;):D My eldest is 10 now and has still only lost 1 molar, her teeth are taking ages to come out. My youngest, she's 2, has had all her teeth for ages and was quite good getting them without too many sleepless nights! :D

    NOW IN COMPING SEMI-RETIREMENT! :D

    Don't do it:eek: Mcdonalds for breakfast:p
What you need is a nice plate of bacon, sausage, mushroom, tomato and a snotty egg. That will perk you up:D oh don't forget the fried bread for dunking in the egg.

My LO went through all her teething with just the powders, if your breastfeeding especially they say to avoid calpol, gels or similar as it can numb their mouth to make it harder to feed.

P.S How do I add a pic on here as thanks to someone on another site I go on I now have a pic of my shoes :)
have you tried uploading to http://tinypic.com/ and then copy the code and paste on here:D
When ds was teething we used to always use the teething powders and they were fab:D
    to be updated:;)
