Hi guys, Ive been out all day and was really hoping to comp back to a wem or something exciting int he post - I was really deflated when there wasnt anything. I think im getting obsessed, ive entered so many recently and my success rate is improving too. Do all of you feel like that to?? ie win prizes (even small ones) = good mood, no wins = bad mood ! LOL x

Hi nips - I will admit that I do get a bit 'deflated' if I haven't had a win in a while, and if I get a little win then the mood improves (gonna have to join compers anonymous soon!:rotfl: )

    ;)

My day goes a bit like this - go to work, keep phone on person at all times, check email at 10.30 (tea break!), 1.30 head home - check for post/parcels/cards, have lunch, check emails, look out for delivery vans/couriers etc, 5.30 check email, comp til 12midnight then bed thinking, wonder if the postie will bring something nice tomorrow!
    :rotfl:
    Obssessed me......no!

Anyone have a cure for a grumbly baby? She's 8 months old next week, as well as sniffly, coughing, teething, constipated, sicky... bah, I just have reached the threshold for the constant grumbling I think!

Trying to do all my postcard comps tonight but she disagrees!

I believe it is Calpol time!

oooh never mind calpol - go for Medised! its got the painkiller & a mild sedative (it is safe unlike some of the 'teething mixes' that have been about) it is good for a nights sleep!

Right, it'll be Boots first thing tomorrow then!

Bless her, she is usually an impeccably behaved child. But she's been unbearable for about a fortnight. I've taken her to the GP, and even to A&E when she was really sick, but all they can tell me is that it's teething and a virus and it'll pass.

They have not confirmed whether I will throw her out of a window (or jump out of it myself!) before it passes...

Thanks Josie - looks like Im not the only one, I just love that buzz.
As for baby keletubbie, I going through that too, I do think its teething and agree with medised if all else fails although you cannot give it with anything else. Those powders are good but not in the night I found. bless you, they do give their parents hard times dont they - Mine got up at 4am this morning and my hubby is off work this week so it was his turn - well thats all ive heard all day and he says hes off to bed shortly as he "never felt as tired in all his life" LOL - men, they have NO stamina xx

  • My LO went through all her teething with just the powders, if your breastfeeding especially they say to avoid calpol, gels or similar as it can numb their mouth to make it harder to feed.

P.S How do I add a pic on here as thanks to someone on another site I go on I now have a pic of my shoes :)
