Phew! Feel like I'm sitting down for the first time today! My lovely Samsung LCD TV broke last week 6 months out of the 1 year warranty  so am having to get an engineers report to prove it hasn't been abused and claim for either a repair or replacement from Curry's under the Sale Of Goods Act, which could take weeks.

Borrowed an old CRT off my mum in the meantime, but it hasn't been used in about 5 years, and after a wobbly few days, it gave up the ghost this morning - lovely clear sound but no picture. Grrr

Borrowed one from another relative but after lugging it home, found it was so old it had no scart, so couldn't connect anything!

So, after contemplating buying a cheapie one, or ringing round to try and find yet another one to borrow, I decided to look on eBay. Found one for sale less than 5 miles away, offered her £5 if she would end the auction early and let me pick it up straight away, she agreed, and so I have a TV again for a bargain £5 :T

Btw also tried Freecycle but despite the fact I've given away at least 30 items and this is my first ever 'wanted' I got no replies

Is it too early for a drink? :D

Aww Bella, your daughter is really cute.
I thought your avatar was a professional card photo. That's a lovely shot.

To early for me for a drink but I've put a bottle of wine in fridge to chill for later.
