Not sure what's going on today but I've just been to do my daily Buffy Vote:

Buffy: 976
Dog 17: 987

Buffy is now in second place While I was looking I refreshed the page a couple of times as I couldn't quite believe my eyes & D!!!7 was gaining a new vote every 30 seconds or so!

Thanks everyone, but I think I'm going to give up on this. I've been looking back on some of the chat threads on DFW (which is where number 17 hangs out) and I can see that she's had loads of posts deleted and been asked more than once not to post 'vote for me' threads with links, but she still posts a few of them every day in different threads.

I actually reported the posts yesterday, although it's not something I'd usually do, mainly because I've also been asked not to post links, and I've been a good girl and done as I was told!

The links she posted yesterday were removed after a few hours, but she just posted more this morning. I'm not going to start doing the same, so it looks like she will win.

Just wanted to say a massive thanks to everyone who's been voting everyday though, you're all stars! :T

just thought I'd pop over and say hello to the lovely Buffy's Mum (and the fabulous fans of Buffy!)

Until about 30 minutes ago, I didn't realise that links to the referrers board weren't allowed until a board guide let me (and the other guilty parties!) know - it was only by chance that I realised a few days ago that I should have posted on the referrers board in the first place - I checked back on an old thread and saw something like 'post on referrers board - MSE Management'.

I didn't realise that after I'd done that, no further links were allowed. Nobody PM'd me etc otherwise I wouldn't have done it - I'm far too much of a scaredy cat to get into trouble - I love being on MSE too much to do anything naughty!

Anway, I just wanted to say 'hi' - I've been wondering whether to or not for days now as I think it's lovely for so many people generally to get behind others in the community - whoever they are voting for! i'm a lurking comper, I've won a few bits in the past and I just keep in the background over here to be honest (Toni - please don't go!!)

Cheeky Chicken - you've a lovely doggy there, keep voting along with the Comping regulars from the Inn etc, whatever the outcome, we will know that MSE is the winner because of all the wonderful help of the people on it

It's a shame the vote had to be split really - I'm guessing Doggy 2 with the Christmas hats is possibly an MSE'er ???
