I've added myself for the 29th. We're away from the 1st until the 17th, so 29th should give me plenty of time to get myself sorted again.

Hi Everyone
Havent had time to do much comping lately (LO had a tooth extracted today so hopefully thats all the tummy bugs sorted _pale_ ).
I noticed something whilst doing a bit of a run last night though and I wonder if someone could tell me. It seems that I've found the same comp on two different sites and wanted to know if I enter it once on each site does that mean Im entering the same comp twice? I ask because as I norm I only post one entry (as per some t&c's to avoid confusing myself), but I have a spread sheet that links to all the sites I registered on with their log-ins etc and I run down the list in order and enter all the current comps. Trying to work out if I need to change my method?
Just to give examples:

Sorry... the first link should be:

If the sites are linked, like Teenfirst, femalefirst sites etc, I think you can only enter once. But if it's just the same prize and same question on different, unrelated sites, there's no problems entering both (or more). Lots of sites give out the same prizes and have the same questions just to promote a particular new thing, ie the same movie etc. Hope that made sense lol!0

Thanks kittypride-but you raise another question for me:oIn the examples I've given Im guessing the sites are unrelated. But how do I work out which ones are?Can I assume that I'll find links in them to other sites-like for example the conde naste sites?

There aren't very many which have one comp running across different sites, but they don't all have links, or appear obvious. vunet (sp?) is one, but I'm sure there are others.
Most people enter the comps as they're posted on this board, & click the thanks button to check which ones they've entered - that way a simple forum search will pull up any duplicate comps which then get merged. I'm not sure how you would spot them with your method, as you don't seem to use this forum as the rest of us doAl Mac Appreciation Society (AMAS) member # 6½
