Hi just wondering if anyone heard of 'Winners Friend Magazine'? apparantly you have to subscribe and I don't think its available from newsagents. Its full of competitions - not like your regular 'take a break' mag, If anyone has any information or have dealt with this magazine i would appreciate any views0

how do you cross out words? [strike]here we go[/strike] thanks catz747"Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm Welsh" Cerys Matthews0 -
In advanced posting, highlight the words you want to [strike]cross out [/strike]and click the S crossed out button on the far right
Or type [STRIKE ]
and then the words and then [/STRIKE ] (without the gaps)0 -

Hello Rachel,
I've had Winner's Friend Magazine since it first started, although it has changed quite a lot since then. It usually has about 85-90 comps plus a children's page each month, mostly with answers, plus about 5 or 6 of their own (subscribers only) competitions with prizes like £100 for the crossword, camera, postcards etc. I have won on these in the past. There are also articles and advice about entering competitions and usually a piece from a big winner with details of their exotic prizes. The magazine cost me £39 a year from the outset, but I don't know if that will have increased for new subscriptions. I really wouldn't like to influence you in your choice. I could let you have a back copy to look at if you would like one. I have actually stopped having the magazine recently, mainly because I was so busy entering comps on MSE that I wasn't getting round to reading it!
I hope this helps0 -
I have wondered why none of the comps i have won have been by phone, turns out when i filled in roboform i have an extra 0 in my tel as i was unaware it has a 0 then you add the rest of your tel.
I was wondering why itv hadn't been in touch yet.0 -

Dear all, A while back this comp was posted and I entered my lovely man. I didn't tell him and thought nothing of it until I received an email saying he was a finalist and could they please have a cheesy photo of the two of us.
:jSo I 'm just posting to say please, please would you consider voting for him, he is truly lovely and really deserves the title. He is in the most heroic husband of the year competition and he is Mal Clarke. :A
Thanks so much for reading my post and huge apologies if this is in the wrong place. It probably is as I seem to be hopeless at posting messages.
The page for voting is here https://www.evemagazine.co.uk/husbands/, you just click on shortlist then scroll down to the Heroic shortlist.
Thank you !!:beer:0
