Right if you are a seller you cant leave feedback right:mad: . which is against free speech :D . Now i was thinking a first for me:rotfl: You may leave positive feeback but there is nothing stopping you putting what you like in the text box i.e This is a neg against this buyer they were a total nightmare E.T.C. So OK you have to leave a pos but put your point across in the text box TO THEM AND OTHER SELLERS AND BUYERS WHAT YOU REALLY THINK..

Sounds like a good idea but only once feedback is left for you otherwise tit for tat would still exist!!!

I refuse to give a bad buyer positive feedback as all that happens is that the buyer gets more and more positive feedback and my comments falling off the first page and disappearing from view.

It also breaches the new ebay regulations that someone else posted yesterday on a different thread about ways round the feedback issue, that states that misuse of feedback, ie leaving a negative comment with a positive feedback will be removed if reported.

Actually, I was just trying to get a link to the new rules about feedback and I think ebay are fiddling again

I'm getting all sorts of nonsense when I look through the help pages, one minute a page is there and the next it disappears. This usually means they are 'doing things', heaven help us.

Thanks for this soolin, as I left a terrible rude seller a neg today, and to no surprise she has left me a "negative" positive in return. So I have just reported her (not that it bothers me too much... it's still a positive so wont be visible in a couple of weeks anyways, but I was wondering if you know how long this will probably take to get removed... and what the chances are? also, should i keep reporting it if they dont take any action?

    Cheers x

I'd keep reporting it as I have no faith that ebay deal with these things urgently at first request.

However, if you get a lot of feedback why not just leave it, as soon as it disappears off your first page no one will ever read the comment and a positive is a positive after all.

The only thing about this reporting the seller for a negative comment on a positive are you sure it will not also remove your negative?

WAHEY!!!!!!! It worked, Ebay are so super speedy at the mo!!! This morning i woke up, checked my account and her comment has been removed (but the rating stil remained which is nice) and my neg is STILL existing on her feedback page!

Ebay are obviously feel very strongly on the negative comment on a positive rating rule, so keep that im mind! As I'm sure we will all have to deal with something like that at some point :o x
