Miele dishwasher.

I am looking for a miele dishwasher,preferably in stainless steel.Anybody got any recommendations.Full size,unless anyone using a goo dslimline one.It will be for a family of 4.Thank you.

I have a Miele G1230SC (stainless full size). We bought it 2 1/2 years ago from John Lewis. It came with 10 year warranty. I can fully recommend it. It is amazingly quiet, efficient and very very good at cleaning dishes. It looks good, has electronic bits and pieces on the display which show you how long the programme will last (depending on the weight of the dishes). You can set it to use specific tabs (ie 3 in 1 etc). But most of all, I love the top rack. Cutlery is not placed in a basket but lies flat in individual slots for cleaning across the entire top surface. This means it cleans beautifully but there are NO rust spots and you gain extra space on the bottom rack. All of the racks lower or higher depending on what you are wanting to wash and the racks have pop-up and lower-down bits to accommodate anything bulky.

You pay more for Miele in the short term, but when you read the threads on here about some other machines only lasting 2-3 years, you don't mind when yours lasts 20! I have Miele and Siemens appliances and (touch wood) it's all going strong, some after many many years.

Btw. John Lewis will pricematch a bricks and mortar store price that you find. Empire Direct are usually one that we pricematch them with.
