Faster Payments (Abbey National) roll out plans

According to this BBC article, Abbey is a founder member of Faster Payments. However, there is no mention of a roll-out plan for them on their website or in this later article which gives some dates of roll out for the other banks.

Interesting that most of the banks will only be receiving payments on launch day - as few banks will actually be sending any, where is the received money coming from ... ? Seems a bit of a lottery, will not get excited about his until the system is in!

Looks like Nat West as part of RBOS will be the only bank group to be fully functional from day one (makes a change!)0
