Advice on flights/holidays from Belfast or Dublin

Hello

I would really appreciate any advice as I am having a lit of trouble trying to organize a family holiday. As usual I have left it very late, ( I never can decide where to go ??)

Anyway, unfortunately we need to around 12 fortnight, Say from 7th July - maybe 22nd July and would like to fly from Belfast or even Dublin.

We cant decide where to go?? Last year we went to Orlando for the first time and loved it, :j but I think that would be too expensive now.

We just cant agree on where to go and its causing arguments... I don't really want to sit about a beach but like city breaks and also would to relax a little too.

2 adults and my 17 year old son and its difficult tp please everyone...

Any ideas would be very welcome as i have spent so much time looking and am getting more and more confused.

Thanks in advance

Ps. we have 3600 in Airmiles can we fly from Belfast with these?

Theres some flights going 9th July advertised for Cyprus still (028 3834 4646 Craigavon travel).
Paphos is good as there are loads of interesting sites to visit- plus sun.
A week with a 17yr old may be enough!

You could try Thomas Cook, noticed they had some reasonably priced holidays left to Rhodes. Sun & sightseeing for everyone.....
What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!

I checked sunway.ie out and they seem quite good. Have you ever used them?

I am interested in Lke Garda; do you think € 2859.00 is a good price for 2 weeks for 3 people in 3* S/C accomadation,
    1 Bedroom in
    Englovacanze Apts
Lake Garda , Verona , Italy.

    many thanks

Check terra travel in Lurgan/Craigavon, they seem to have lots of deals on their website.

Have you thought of a cruise?

We are looking to go away in September, just going to wait last min as there are so many last min bargains out there at the mo.

Sorry I've not used them but I know someone who did use them for a wedding party and thought they were good.

Here's my tuppence worth: compare companies using holiday-special.com as they cover all ni/irl holidays. If looking at Thomas Cook/MYT, check Direct Holidays first (same product but usually cheaper). There is a reduction in capacity this year and so package deals may be more expensive than last year. If heading for Europe try low loco carriers first. The credit crunch is biting and there are plenty of seats ex BFS with all of them.
Florida may be dearer to get to but with the exchange rate as it is you should be quids in when you arrive. Consider Canada also as flyzoom.com are offering good deals ex BFS. With regards to Lake Garda..lovely place but wallet busting when you get there.
Check out budgetravel.ie for hols ex dublin too. Hope this helps.
