18866/Finarea Unnotified Price Rise Scam

The dictionary definition of scam is "A fraudulent business scheme; a swindle".
As previously stated, increasing a connection charge by 1p to 3p when the information is plainly displayed on their web site does not fit the term "scam".
Given the definition, this could also be deemed as libellous.
I'm sure the vast majority of MSE regulars are aware of the large amount of real feedback from genuine customers who post without a hidden agenda.
I have absolutely no connection with any telephone companies and I'm beginning to wonder whether this thread is just a trolling exercise..

I note these various unreasoned requests to claim 18866 are still the good guys. But given the unhealthily close business relationship between Martin Lewis, who runs this forum, and Finarea I would suspect that all of these posts are from people with a business connection with Finarea. I note there have been no such posts defending Finarea over in the SayNoto0870 discussion forum.
I strongly object to your unsubstantiated comments above.....not so much regarding the "unreasoned requests" etc (as other readers and users of 18866 1899 etc can judge for themselves as the the merits or otherwise of the respective comments/debate) but to your remarks directed to ML (who has already succinctly responded and no more needs to be added) and where you stated "I would suspect that all of these posts are from people with a business connection with Finarea". I can only reaffirm that my only connection is as a paying (and satisfied) customer and that your "suspicion" certainly, as far as I am concerned, is incorrect.
I think you will find that these totally unwarranted assertions from you will, in the view of most impartial readers, only weaken and undermine your arguments regarding your original point about the "scam". In other words, if you make completely over the top comments now - you may well have done so before.0 -
