Hotmail freeze my PC

Hi all.
Anytime I want to check my e-mail,my pc freeze for about 5-10 sec.
This is the only time this hapen.(when check e-mail)
Down the bottom is saying "waiting gfx1.hotmail.com".
Anyone can help.

    Sorry to bring it back again.... but still the above problem.

    could depend on how fast your PC - what things you may have running in the background and also what you mean by freeze? is it the mail program or is it everything that is running on the PC?
    5 - 10 seconds doesnt seem too long to download mail

    Thanks guys for replies.
    The problem happen
    only when I check my E-mail(hotmail).
    On these 10 sec. I can't access my PC.With other words the whole PC is being frozen.
    5 - 10 seconds doesnt seem too long to download mail
    I'm not sure if is downloading mail as as i said i can't even minimize window and work on some other programs.

    Is working perfectly with Explorer.

    Use IE Tab in Firefox here. It can be set so that it will be used automatically when you use Hotmail.
