Hand luggage on easy jet

Can you carry your hand bag + your hand luggage on easy jet or do you have to put hand bag in hand luggage as carry it as one? Thanks

however once you're through security it's not an issue getting on the plan with your handbag sepparate and a plastic bag full of duty free

To get through security (at those airports that have not increased the allowance to 2 items) you need to put them together.

Once you've gone through security you can separate them again.

Hi there, not sure what LGW's allowance is, however, recently flown easyjet, had handbag and hand luggage together with the obligatory plastic bag for fluids, everything was fine and no-one batted an eyelid either at security or on boarding the plane. Route was LGW to Faro and nothing was said on the return sector either. Regards, Scoya

Flew Easyjet from Malaga yesterday afternoon. My daughter and I were very careful about putting our handbags into our hand luggage so that we only had one bag each. My hand luggage actually contains my CPAP machine which I have to take into the cabin so I have to stuff my handbag contents around it!

Imagine our surprise when we were sitting down to see several passengers with more than one piece of hand luggage and at least three of them had two full size pieces of hand luggage (wheeled bags) each! Nothing was said and they were all stowed in the overhead lockers.

It seems to me that there is still some confusion regarding hand luggage and although Easyjet stipulates only one piece on the website there is definitely a leaniency operated by some of their staff.
