Student badget - Loan help!

Hi,
I will be going into my final year of my undergraduate degree in September.
In total, which includes around 800 pounds from my parents, I recieve £4000 for living costs. I have a sepearate loan for tutition fees.
I will be going into a house for next year and will be likely to be paying 300/month excluding bills. Has anyone got advice regarding my situation as I am worrying about how I will be able to have enough money.
At the moment I am going to:
Declare non-depenance on parents to increase the amount I get from loans.
Getting a job in the summer.
And little things such as tesco club card etc.
Any advice?? Thanks for looking!

1. Work full-time during the summer and that should give you a few bob to save.
2. Get a part-time job for during term-time and that should keep you afloat. 3. It depends on how luxurious you want your lifestyle to be, if you use certain buying techniques (buying own-brand, buying at certain times of the day, buying in bulk etc) then food shouldn't be a problem.
4. Keep a tight reign on how much you spend on nights out.
5. Watch how much you spend on your mobile phone, if you have one. You might be cheaper on a contract if you spend a lot on PAYG.
5. Keep bills low by researching tariffs and getting the best one for you. Turn off lights, appliances, etc when not in use.0 -
What do you mean by "declare non dependance on parents"?0

Yeah, that confused me too. What does that mean? Surely if you are getting £800 from them it is still something.0 -
You need to prove non dependance. I think you have to show you have been living on your own / providing for yourself for 3 years to do this.
Can you do this?Green and White Barmy Army!0
