Having used OutlookExpress for many many years (and suffered quite a lot due to general instability of the app) I have decided to finally try something else.
I will want to use a number of accounts and tend to receive a large number of emails daily.
Which works best for you?
Any feedback from actual users will be appreciated.

Thunderbird rules !
Having used Firefox as my main browser for ages I installed Thunderbird at the same time and it beats OE hands down .
As Linux improves I find that I am using it more and more, I can even run windows programs in it so XP will be my last paid for OS .

Started with Voyager (RISCOS), then Outlook Express (Windows PC), then Pegasus, then Outlook Express again, then Thunderbird (for couple of years), then Outlook 2003, and presently Outlook 2007 (so much more than just an email client).
For purely an email client Thunderbird is way better than OE. But for additional stuff like calendars, tasks etc then I find Outlook far superior to Thunderbird (even the email client side of Outlook I find better, it's a pity people confuse OE for Outlook, they're such two very different programs)."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Thunderbird for me too!If many little people, in many little places, do many little things,
they can change the face of the world.

Pegasus for me, I have it installed on a USB Flash Drive and can use it from any PC without having to use rubbish webmail. The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible.

Although you can get a portable version of Thunderbird, which is my preferred choice of portable client.

Thunderbird, and Firefox to go with it. There is also a useful little utility called Reminderfox which links with both for birthdays, reminders and to-dos.0
