Just fill in your details
it is a little cardboard box that is lined with plastic and it has a small hole in the top so you can pour in any fat from frying pan or grill pan, and then seal it up and dispose of it without putting it down sink or just in dustin. Its a clean way to dispose of fat/grease!

I got one ages ago. Took ages to arrives, it looks like a Swarfega tub with a funnel inside, holds about a mug of fat.0

I use an empty milk container (plastic one) for the same reason. Pour the oil/fat (once its cooled down but still runny) into the container. Once it's full, I screw the lid on and tape around the top to secure it. Then it goes in the bin with the rubbish. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

A simple DIY version is free and easy to do.
You just save an empty tin. Pour out any remaining liquid.
Put a piece of kitchen towel in the bottom of the tin to absorb any remaining drops.
Let fat cool a little.
Carefully pour fat into tin.
Let it stand and harden or cool off completely.
Another piece of kitchen towel on top.
If you have kept the tin lid that can go back on as well.
In winter this method is perfect for making bird feed. you just add dried up bread, raisins, chopped up cheapo peanuts and when its hard you can scoop out. leave on bird table and watch the birdies!
P.S. DONT use plastic containers!Keep trying.........................what else is there to do?

I've been doing this for many years now, and have never had one single problem with it. As long as you remember to leave the oil/fat to cool down before you pour it into the bottle, it works fine and you wont have a problem.
I also make 'fat' cakes for the birds every winter. Along with the fat, I add wild bird food (nuts/seeds etc). I make mine in a glass bowl. Once it's set, it tips out easily. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Its also worth noting that anyone who has probs wondering what to do with old oils and fats, your local waste disposal centre will gladly accept them, along with some other stuff. PLEASE! dont pour it down the drain:mad:

I use the tin also. Basically if you have something fatty - burgers, sausages, bacon, you're going to always have beans etc with them
So just use the bean tin, wait till it cools, put it in a carrier bag and put in the rubbish bin_Jen_0 -
