trusts for children from inheritance

What I really need to know is whether there is some sort of suitable trust or bond to leave money in for a child beneficiary from a will. My mother has left my nephew £3000 and considering that it's stipulated that he is not to receive it until reaching an age about 10 years from now and mindful that £3000 then will be worth much less than now, I'm not sure what I should do? Are there any special trusts or bonds or something specifically for this? Any help much appreciated.

The only way you can make the money grow is to buy a fixed rate bond. Five year bonds are offering the best rates and there will be a list at the top of this site if you click on BANKING-SAVING or you can just put the words in Google i.e.
"Best 5 year fixed rate bonds"
You should be able to get 5% or perhaps more.0 -
LOL I don't think they will see your answer Jake'sGran. The question was posted 6 years ago by somebody who has since left the forum.0
