Another PCA on IB?

I have ME & Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
My benefit timeline wasn't typical: I was on IS which was stopped May 2007 following a failed PCA, had an appeal which was successful mid November 2007.
During this time , I became entitled to IB under Youth Rules, which, since the appeal hadn't been decided, I had a further PCA with Medical late November 2007, which I passed.
I've just recieved another IB50. I know my general review date just passed, but surely they should have noticed i'd just had a PCA 6 months ago!
While i'm happy to comply, I wondered of there was a legal minimum time between PCA's for IB claimants?
Know they may accept the form (and some social services papers I have) and not call me for another Medical, but I am concerned!

I maybe wrong but i dont think there is a minimum time between pca`s,someone on here may know better.Could it be that they are counting 12 months since your last claim ran out, ignoring the appeal time?if so then 12 months is not unusual0

I think the minimum time between being checked is 3 months and as Woodbine has said it seems about right that you are due to be checked again.0

I think the minimum is 3 months as mentioned, those who failed are more likely to have more frequent reviews. As mentioned it goes from when your last PCA was done rather than your appeal date usually. One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Thanks for your answers. I suppose it's because the IS was failed this time last year.
Had no idea PCA's were as frequent as every 3 months. I thought the EMP made one of 3 recomendations, none of which are re-examine in 3 months!
Just a bit surprised since I passed a PCA in November 2007.0 -
I've just passed my PCA and have been told I will take another in May 2009.0

The ATOS Dr only recommends to the JCP Decision Maker (DM) in the PCA medical report, the next time when the PCA process should be looked at again- when their should be some improvement in the medical condition. This could be 3/6/9/12/18 months, 2 or 5 yrs. The ATOS Dr then provides the JCP Decision Maker with a PCA medical report.
The JCP DM uses the report to decide if the conditions for the PCA have/have not been met, and decides the claim accordingly.0
