Cheap Manchester Hotel needed 26th July 08

Can anyone help me find the cheapest hotel in Manchester - as close to the Village as possible. Ramada is offering (direct on their website) the advance 21 day at £74 including breakfast and then I can get 10% back via quidco (total £66.0).
The other closest decent deal is via lastminute.com and I can get Ibis for £66 with 8% cashback (total £60.72) without breakfast.
Can anyone get me anything better or know of any ramada, ibis, or novotel codes.
Thanks!

I don't know if this is of use but I reckon I could get you the Marriott Victoria & Albert for £48.75 inclusive of full breakfast. It's a bit complicated but PM me if you're interested

If you go on Laterooms there is the gardens hotel for £55 without breakfast. If you go through Quidco I think cashback is 5%.
Hope this helps

Forgot to say that is a double room and cost is per room not per person.0 -

This hotel looks fab and at that price I'm tempted, BUT we're not driving down and are seeing a show in the Village. I think taxi fares to/from train station with our bags (lots of shoes lol) and back and to from the Village may make it expensive - oooh it does look good though. I will chat to my friend and see what she thinks. . . thank you very much.0 -

thought so but it's always best to ask first have you looked at the travel lodge they have 1 in ancoats down road from train station/ village including staggering distance back plus you get 3.6% from quidco twin/double is £61.(saves on taxi's etc but if you wanted a taxi back it's usually can be £3+ depending on driver)

The Novotel is about as near as you can get. It is just off Portland St 2 minutes walk from Canal St.
