Renewal and P60 Questions

Hello all,
Just wanted to ask you opinion before I fill in my tax credit renewal, I started working in March 07, so I worked a few days in that tax year, didn't get a P60 as I didn't get paid, but I did declare this as my income to the tax credits agency (i got the amount from my Payrol), this years P60 includes this same amount, I was thinking of just deducting the 06-07 amount I already declared (I have a letter from my payrol stating the amount was from March 07), does anyone see any issue with this, I would call them but seem to get some bad advice sometimes.. Its only a small amount but it might make a huge difference.
Thanks
