I'm inclined to think that no way in hell is that a £250 tent, and that you will be getting exactly what you pay for.
Happy to be proven otherwise, but I'm not going to be holding my breath while I wait!0 -
Thanks for this - you need to check out the whole site as there are some stunning bargins to be had - not just camping0

All those tents on incredible reductions - how do they stay in business? They must be losing a fortune. LOL
You can stay in one of their tents I'm sleeping in the car :-)Joe
As through this life you travel,
you meet some funny men
Some rob you with a six-gun,
and some with a fountain pen0 -

I thought they had to be too good to be true when I looked for something a couple of years ago. I'm sure I went to review co uk to see what the reviews about them were like and some said you were lucky if the goods came! Others had to wait ages and some had the goods turn up damaged, while some praised them to the hilt! If you're a bit of a risk-taker then - who knows. If you're dubious - forget them!

As a camper of 30+ years and a long-serving member of the biggest online camping forum in the UK (UKCS) I would not touch one of these with the proverbial 10 ft pole. Unknown "brand" name for a start, poor specs and all the rest. Ebay is jammed with this sort of crap. It beats me why folk really belive they can spend £35 on an item and get the same performance as a brand leader one that costs x10 as much? Especially as they're going to attempt to take their kids away in it and expect to be warm and dry in the UK climate.....
Rant over, lol! Actually there are still some really good buys around in tents at the moment...mostly discontinued models from last year, but from good manufacturers. If you want a tent pop over to UKCS and post your needs and wants there, and the folk that really know (ie campers) will undoubtably come up with a better deal. I doubt it will be £35, but it will be a tent, not a plastic bag propped up with garden canes.Val.0 -
Extremely well put Val. Saying that, it's a shame that firms like these feel the need to try and take advantage of others being hard up and tempted.
I'm another member of UKCS too and would take notice of all that was said there and would recommend anyone else to do the same.
