Any Help pls estimate for rewire/plastering ?

Hi all
were thinking of buying a old house and it needs a total rewire new sockets fuse box etc
its a 3 bed detached and were in south yorkshire area does anyone know roughly what it will cost ??

also to have it all replastered ??

Plastering wise you could be looking at about £2500-£3000 to have the whole house reskimmed.

electrics about the same 2k-3k. re-wire. new fuse box etc etc.

Do you mean replastering ceilings as well?

What about the walls..will the old plaster need knocking off first if it's in a bad condition? If so, factor in the cost of a couple of skips and labour for removing the resultant mess. Don't forget to get the wiring done before the plastering...! To get someone in to do all the work you are probably not going to see much change from 10k.
