Fridge has turned into freezer....help!

Hi All,

Over the last few days the temperature in my fridge section of an upright fridge-freezer has been dropping. I woke up this morning and everything in the fridge is frozen solid! the freezer is fine as usual. I checked the controls etc and everything is as it was.

Can anyone offer any advice? It is about 4 years old and i cant live without a fridge....any help/advice appreciated...

Have to check round the back of it, to make sure the air vent (if it has one) is clear, and / or underneath it for the same reason.

Has the temp control dial moved?

Check to make sure the drain hole at the back is clear and not filling up with water. Also check that the food in the fridge has not been pushed so far back it stops air movement around the fridge. I loaded the fridge up once and push everything to the back so far it was pressing on the panel at the back, and stopped the air movement!

Just re read my post! The fridge should have stops to prevent it being pushed too far back into the wall! However, what I meant to say, the food inside pushed so far back, it rides over the back of the shelves and presses to the rear of the inside of the fridge!
