Halifax Ultimate Reward Current Account

I recently applied for the above account and received a letter today stating "we are currently processing your application, however our underwriters require further information to assess your application".

The letter goes onto say I have to go into branch with my last three bank statement showing my salary credited. My salary is paid into Citibank Current Account.

My Experian file has been searched.

I have an Easycash Basic Account and savings over 2K with Halifax.

Is it likely I will get the above account after the bank has seen my statements or could I still be refused?

Thanks
Steven

theres always a possibility for the account being refused, BUT you have got an opportunity to grab a good deal (imo - i have the same accoint), no harm in submitting the statements for review... it will be a 1000 times better than your current bank account...

let us know how you get on?

Thanks for your reply, I will certainly post back how I get on. Anyone else have any feedback.

Glad to hear you got your upgrade, if you dont mind me asking how long have you had your basic account with Halifax before asking for an upgrade.

I got the above account, so my credit rating is obviously getting even better.
