I can't help with your question, but you have just answered something for me! I walked passed someones house earlier and they had an advert in the window "For Sale Quinny Zapp" .... I didn't have a clue what a 'Quinny Zapp' was and it left me wondering! My kids are 9 & 11 so I'm well past the pushchair stage!

So now I've read your post I know! Thanks!

We've got a Quinney Zapp and it's great - even took it on holiday to Florida, no probs. My mum still doesn't know how to collapse it though, and if you have todo it in a hurry (e.g. on a bus) it's impossible to do without putting the baby down...

i've got a loola - the reason i chose it was that it folds up small (i fit it easily into the boot of a micra) more of a travel system tho?? quite heavy with the pushchair part attached i think.otherwise i love it.

At the time we bought our Quinny Zapp, about 18 months ago, there was nothing on the market to match it for compactness. The downside is that it doesn't recline, but the carry bag makes it so easy to manage should you be flying anywhere.

    Petite Star - Zia

Very good, very small suitable from birth cos it reclines right back.
I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them but they were only satellites
Is it wrong to wish on space hardware

    Hi

I had a Quinny Zapp which I sold on as my DS had outgrown. For compactness it was brilliant. It is a perfect city / town stroller. It is extremely easy to manouvere (sp) and folds to the size you can fit behind the drivers seat in the car (very useful if you have a boot full of shopping)

There is no storage but I believe you can buy an attchment now or else you can end up wrestling with loads of bags. You can't let your child out of pushchair if you have anything (and I do mean th smallest thing) on the back as it topples easily.

If you plan on using it off road at ALL do not buy it as it can't push on the smallest piece of verge.

Would I buy it again? No as I now live in the countryside, but if I still lived in the town yes I probably would.

I would agree totally with Smitty. Fab for travelling with, easy and light. But a pain if you need to put any bags on it at all.

Mutsy Spider - Folds down small into it's own carry bag

Easyfold Quicksmart - Again folds down small into a carry bag

Presto (Toys R Us) - Very Zapp/Zia looking but umbrella folding .

ETA : All of these buggies can't have shopping bags hung off of them otherwise they will tip , some have baskets underneath but they are not worth it at all ! And as said above none of these types are off road buggies .

    Forgot to add these ones

Britax Verve and the Britax Vigour , although on the Vigour I think you have to take the seat unit off the chassis to fold it .
