Eeeny Meeny Miney Mo (To cap or not to cap?)...
Still trying to decide what to do. I've decided to move to Scottish Power, but can't decide whether to cap or not. Rates are capped until May 2007, which is 20 months.
My quick calculations say that I'd be paying approx. 13% extra for the privilege. One way I'm looking at it is that if I went uncapped, and there was a big increase of 26% in 10 months time (and no further increase in the following 10 months), then I'd be at breakeven. Similarly a 26% increase next week, but no further increase gives the same result. The gambling side of me says go uncapped, but I'm open to persuasion. Go on someone, make a decision for me.
Finally, can anyone tell me when the last Scottish Power increase was (and how much), and when the previous one to that was.
Thanks!

Nice to save.
